马斯克:我对领导岗位的用人原则是更倾向于让工程师担任领导而不是用所谓的管理背景的人。SpaceX具备很强的创新能力,原因是我们是一家工程师文化主导的公司。有点像运行一个“硅谷”操作系统,很难描述,就好像问你如何描述Linux操作系统一样——Linux比别的操作系统更高效。

事实上小公司一定比大公司更具有创新性,从进化论的角度讲这是个必然的结果,因为不能创新那就只有死掉......需要扁平的组织结构,鼓励高效沟通,对事不对人的决策机制,反对论资排辈,永远用工程思维做理性的决策。

Musk:In terms of at the leadship level, I'd rather for it someone has strong engineering ability than so called management ability. Why it's basics more innovative, um I think it's probably cause we've got like a super engineering driven culture. I mean it's really it's we're running kind of the silicon valley operating system. Um it's kind of hard to describe like how do you describe linux, like lennox is more efficient than some other operating sytems.

Small companies generally better at innovating than the larger companies. And it has to be that way from a darwinian standpoint, because you so small companies would just die if they didn't try innovating. It's fairly flat hirachary key you, promote rapid communication through a best ideas when my best ideas wins culture, as opposed to this. You know the having the seniority of the post and decide the solution which I mean that should never be the case in engineering to always be a rational basis.
